Chapter Twenty Three

Asmo dragged me around clothing stores to try on a bunch of clothes on Thursday since I didn’t really have any formal wear. It was exhausting trying on so many outfits and Asmo bought a lot of clothes, both for me and him.

“Why don’t we take a break,” he suggested, probably seeing how tired I was.

“Sure, do you want a coffee,” I asked.

“Hm,” he thought, “What about Madam Devian’s?”

“That’s a sweets shop right?”

“Yeah, they have some drinks too if you’re thirsty.”

“Alright. Lead the way, then.”

I followed him through the streets and he started a conversation after we sat with our snacks, “Magma Pudding, huh?”

“Yeah, it seemed interesting,” I took a sip of my coffee and cracked through the crisp brown top to reveal a fiery pudding underneath, “What did you get?”

“A Devil Strawberry Rose Parfait. It looks like a dress doesn’t it?”

“Yeah it’s really well constructed. Looks good too.”

He took a few photos of his parfait before digging in, “So, Drizzm. What’s going on between you and Lucifer?”

“What do you mean?”

“You two seem awfully close lately. He visits you during recess far more often than he used to.”

“Oh, well we started dating.”

He dropped his spoon into his parfait, “What?! Since when?!”

“That night Belphie killed me.”

“How did I not hear about this,” he scoffed, “I need to post about this.”

“Hope Lucifer is okay with that.”

“I don’t think you have anything to worry about, sweetie.”

“If you say so,” I took another bite of my pudding, “I wanna keep eating. This is pretty good.”

He actually didn’t make a post yet, probably because his parfait was rapidly deteriorating. After our detour we made our way back home. I never thought I’d be happy to have such a big closet. Although I’m sure I’ll lose quite a few of these clothes as Asmo takes them for random outfits. I don’t particularly mind. He can tell which clothes I really like and leaves those alone.
